Collaboration of Architecture

I have always wondered about the spectacular architecture around the world. Especially ancient Indian, Egyptian and European architecture. They are really mind blowing.

Starting from lighting, acoustics, directions, dimensions, designs, placement, meaning/message it conveys, detailing of sculptures, depiction of the culture and usage of other scientific details. They were master pieces.

If you see now, this ancient architecture is lost. They are no more done in this world. Having us such an advanced technology we should have better architectures than what was built before. Even now many people are wondering about the architecture of Tanjore Sivan temple or TajMahal or Golconda or pyramids. These are just a few to mention. There are/were millions more.

There was this age when anyone with an eye for beauty can have these architecture built by themselves or employing architects. But now people use some modern style and that too available to the rich only.

People including me are concentrating more on earning money than to embrace the beauty around us and to go by our vision (which need not be only into architecture). This is not any single person's fault. But the globalization impact. People wants to become rich than to live their lives.

All I wish now is for this. In my life time I want to build a museum just to exhibit as much architectural/Art work as possible (having them built now to showcase that the knowledge isn't lost) not for commercial/residential purpose but for inspirational purpose. So that at least by seeing them if a handful people get inspired and start to showcase what we were and how we have grown ourselves with the base of ancient architecture with latest technology. This will give humanity opportunity to think beyond.

Note: I am not an architect/Engineer but I have an eye for beauty and want to embrace it.
